CONSULTANCY
I offer a range of services, broadly in the areas of Business Development, Biotech Innovation and Research Consultancy. My expertise in this field stems particularly from my experience leading an R&D team in a Biotech company (CRO) – we developed primary kidney assays and models, including disease modelling (diabetes, fibrosis). I helped to launch these as a service for pharma clients – I performed the role of technical lead for kidney in conversations with clients, including discussions surrounding high content imaging assays. I gave talks and poster presentations at international conferences and through networking, generated new business leads.
Examples of consultancy projects my clients have asked me to undertake:
Provide expert advice on the isolation and culture of cells from human kidneys.
Tape down conversations during a three-day workshop and write a summary report including recommendations for strategic collaborations.
Carry out market research and competitor analysis in the Microphysiological Systems (MPS) and Organoids space, with a particular focus on heart (cardiac) and kidney (renal) technology, to inform business strategy development.
Support the development and writing of grant applications to generate business funding.
Each time I write this list, a new client gets in contact to ask me to do something different, that is also well within my expertise! So if you have a freelance project and you think I can help, please get in touch! I also have 11 years’ experience in high content imaging and the development of in vitro imaging assays (IN Cell Analyzer and ImageXpress systems).
Please get in touch via the webform so that we can discuss your ideas to develop a package that’s right for you.
